The landscape of healthcare is evolving, and at the forefront of this transformation is the powerful concept of patient engagement. "Patient-Powered Progress: Revolutionary Digital Strategies for Optimal Patient Engagement and Healthcare Delivery," a groundbreaking conference, is taking place from June 25-27, 2025, at Harvard University.

This DCI Network event series offers an unparalleled opportunity to dive deep into the transformative potential of AI and emerging technologies in enhancing patient engagement, education, and outcomes. Attendees can gain invaluable insights, share expertise, and collaborate with leading minds to co-create the future of patient-centric care.

A Highlight for Participatory Medicine Enthusiasts!

We're especially excited that two prominent figures from the Journal of Participatory Medicine will be featured at this event. The Journal of Participatory Medicine is the leading peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing and disseminating science on the meaningful participation of individuals in research and care delivery, and the use of technology for patient and citizen empowerment. A fully open-access publication, it supports a global community of scientists, educators, clinicians, advocates, patients, and the public. It's the official journal of the Society for Participatory Medicine, publishing original research, reviews, viewpoints, case studies, and essays – including powerful pieces written by patients and caregivers.

Attendees will have the unique opportunity to hear from:

Dr. Danny Sands, MD, MPH, FACP, FACMI

  • Co-founder and Chief Advocacy Officer, Society for Participatory Medicine
  • Assistant Professor of Medicine, Harvard Medical School
  • Staff Physician, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center

Dr. Sands will be chairing a crucial panel discussion on June 26, 2025, from 9:30-10:30 AM as part of Theme 1: Understanding Patient Priorities and Engagement Strategies.
