The collaboration will focus on integrating MetaROR’s publish-review-curate platform with JMIR’s innovative publishing ecosystem—specifically its [JMIRx](https://jmirx.org/home) overlay journal series, including [JMIRx Med](https://xmed.jmir.org/) and [JMIRx Bio](https://xbio.jmir.org/). ---   Listen to this blog post 2:34   --- Through this partnership, JMIR Publications and MetaROR aim to advance open science, elevate the quality and transparency of peer review, and promote robust recognition for reviewers' contributions to scientific literature. Under the agreement, JMIRx journals will welcome and expedite the editorial processing of article submissions that have undergone open peer review via MetaROR, utilizing MetaROR's comprehensive review reports to streamline the path to publication in a *JMIRx* journal. "Partnering with MetaROR is a natural step forward in our ongoing mission to champion open science and transparency in scholarly publishing, particularly in the important growing field of metascience, or research on research," says Tiffany I. Leung, MD, MPH, FAMIA, Scientific Editorial Director at JMIR Publications. "Integrating MetaROR's open peer review capabilities with our *JMIRx* overlay series provides authors with an expedited, high-quality editorial pathway." MetaROR has listed JMIR’s overlay journals as [official partner journals](https://metaror.org/partner-journals/) on its platform. Both organizations will actively collaborate on joint community outreach and scholarly presentations to promote the long-term benefits of transparent peer review ecosystems.
